Abigail Carlin

Abigail Carlin is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in strategic communications and project management across diverse industries. Currently serving as Executive Business Manager and Internal Communications Manager at the Barbican Centre since November 2022, Abigail has previously held notable roles at Penguin Random House UK, where significant contributions included strategy development and social impact initiatives aimed at under-represented communities. Abigail has also demonstrated expertise as Project Manager at Edge and Distribution Manager at Monocle, with a strong background in audience development and international distribution. Earlier career achievements as Creative Director at Kiki Magazine included establishing brand identity and securing numerous industry awards. Abigail holds both an MA and BA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati.
