David Farnsworth

David Farnsworth currently serves as the Interim CEO and Managing Director of the City of London Corporation, a position held since June 2021. Previously, David held the role of Director and Chief Grants Officer at The City Bridge Trust from July 2013 to May 2021. An independent consultant from September 2012 to June 2013, David also worked as the Head of the Refugee and Asylum Seekers Initiative at The Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund between March 2007 and August 2012, and was the Chief Executive of the Welsh Refugee Council from 2004 to 2007. David’s academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and completion of the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London.
