Anne Marie Darling

Anne Marie joined Barclays in April 2025 and is Group Co-Chief Operating Officer and Co-CEO Barclays Execution Services, and a member of the Group Executive Committee.

Anne Marie co-leads and sets the strategy for the Chief Operating Office responsible for leading colleagues in providing world-class operations and technology services that deliver excellent customer and client outcomes, including data, cybersecurity, real estate, procurement, and group controls.

Prior to Barclays, Anne Marie was at Goldman Sachs 25 years, where she was partner for 12 years and held many senior leadership positions, including Head of the Global Multi-Asset Platform Sales team, Head of Global FICC Execution Services, COO of Global Securities client strategy and Head of Marquee digital distribution strategy. She served on the Global Banking & Markets Operating Committee, Firmwide Digital Strategy Committee and co-headed the Inclusion & Diversity Committee for Global Banking & Markets.

Anne Marie serves on the Presidential Leadership Council for Brown University and as Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council for Brown University. She also serves on the Nasdaq’s Exchange Board, New York City Executive Committee for Team IMPACT and serves on the Presidential Leadership for Columbia University.

Anne Marie graduated from Brown University with a Graduate Engineering Degree and holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
