Danielle Leyden

Danielle Leyden is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Managing Director at Barclays, a position held since November 2012. Throughout the tenure, Danielle has held various finance director roles across multiple divisions, managing significant cost bases and leading a global team of over 50 colleagues. Danielle has also contributed strategically as Chief of Staff for Barclaycard Finance, advising the CFO and participating in leadership teams. Prior to Barclays, Danielle worked as IT & Logistics Finance Manager at Marks and Spencer PLC and as Senior Financial Analyst at Sainsbury's, demonstrating a strong background in financial management, stakeholder engagement, and cost analysis. Danielle is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
