Gaurav Mittal

Gaurav Mittal currently serves as the Head of Data & AI/ML Engineering for Markets at Barclays, where responsibilities include leading the engineering strategy for AI/ML and data solutions to optimize trading performance. Prior to Barclays, Gaurav held positions at Facebook as a Senior Data Engineer, focusing on integrating analytics into advertising strategies and at Goldman Sachs in various roles, including Executive Director of Core Engineering, where Gaurav developed a cloud-based trading platform generating significant revenue. Gaurav's early career featured work in VLSI design at DKOP Labs and foundational roles at Goldman Sachs as a Summer Analyst. Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
