Hugh Campbell

Hugh Campbell is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within major financial institutions. Currently serving as Head of Finance Transformation and Head of Group Balance Sheet Management at Barclays since January 2023, Hugh previously held positions as Managing Director at Credit Suisse from September 2019 to December 2022 and various roles at Barclays from 2012 to 2019, including MD, Head of Balance Sheet Management Barclays International, and Head of Treasury Strategic Planning. Early career experiences include leadership in liquidity reporting and funding risk management at Barclays Investment Bank and HBOS Treasury Services. Hugh holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Glasgow, earned between 1997 and 2001.
