Joseph Wong

Joseph Wong, CFA, FRM, currently serves as the Head of Wealth Distribution for Barings in Hong Kong and Singapore, focusing on the wealth distribution business in the region since December 2024. Prior to this role, Joseph held the position of Head of Intermediary Distribution at M&G Investments from February 2021 to November 2024, overseeing intermediary distribution in the same markets. Joseph's career includes significant roles at Franklin Templeton as Vice President of Intermediary Business, where responsibilities included the intermediary distribution business in China and Hong Kong, and at Superfund Financial (Hong Kong) Limited, which involved wholesale channel distribution in Greater China and the Philippines. Earlier experience includes leading sales in Southern China at AIA and serving as a Strategy Analyst at Bank of China (Hong Kong). Joseph holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from The Manchester Metropolitan University and education from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and King's College, Hong Kong.
