Mark Southwood

Mark Southwood is an experienced professional in governance, data management, and finance within children's services, currently serving as the Governance, Data and Finance Team Manager at Barnardo's since January 2021. Mark previously held key positions at Spurgeons, where responsibilities included overseeing data management and administrative operations for Children’s Centres, and at Mencap, managing residential care facilities for adults with learning disabilities. Earlier roles included managing children's services at Guideposts Charity, Central Bedfordshire Council, and various positions within YMCA organizations, highlighting expertise in budgeting, staff management, and technical support.
