David joined Baron in 2010 as a research analyst and has 14 years of research experience. In 2018, David was named assistant portfolio manager of Baron Real Estate Income Fund. From 2006 to 2008, David worked at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice a private equity firm, as an associate. From 2004 to 2006, David worked at Morgan Stanley as an investment banking analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group. David graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics in 2004 and with honors from Columbia Business School with an M.B.A. in 2010.
