Tarvaris Washington Sr. is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in system engineering, information security, and network administration. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at Barone Consulting since July 2022, Tarvaris maintains expertise in CentOS 7, Ansible, and VMware while troubleshooting digital systems across Linux and Windows environments. Previously, as an Information Security Analyst Advisor at General Dynamics Information Technology, Tarvaris managed a team responsible for over 300 global servers and explored new technologies to meet customer needs. Tarvaris also held key positions within the US Navy, including Information Systems Technician Leading Petty Officer at DISA, where leadership encompassed overseeing day-to-day operations at the Navy Operations Center in the Pentagon. With a career beginning in 2001 aboard the USS John C. Stennis, Tarvaris has developed a strong foundation in cybersecurity, network administration, and technical oversight across various military and commercial environments.
