Walaa Almutairi

Walaa AlMutairi is an experienced information security professional currently serving as an Information Security Senior Specialist at barq since May 2024. Prior to this role, Walaa worked at STC Bank as an Information Security Specialist for a brief period in March 2024 to May 2024, and at stc pay as an Infrastructure Security Specialist from February 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included managing security controls such as PAM, IAM, MFA, proxy, AV, DLP, email gateways, and data classification. Earlier experience includes a position as a SOC Analyst at Saudi Business Machines - SBM from August 2021 to December 2021, focusing on incident response and monitoring security events. Walaa also worked as a Security Solution & Implementation Engineer at Riyadh Airports between June 2020 and December 2021. A graduate of Al Yamamah University, Walaa holds a Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering and Security obtained in January 2018.
