Andrew Austin-Petersen

Andrew Austin-Petersen is a Water Resources Engineer at Barr Engineering Co. since January 2019, with previous experience as an Environmental Engineering Masters Student at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2016 to December 2018 and as a Water Quality Scientist for the City of Austin from November 2013 to August 2016. Andrew also worked as an Independent Contractor, specializing as an Upright Bass Player in various styles including bluegrass, old-time, and swing, from September 2007 to November 2013. Earlier in the career, Andrew served as a Bioanalytical LC-MS-MS Methods Development Scientist at CEDRA Corporation, focusing on the development and validation of GLP LC-MS-MS bioanalytical methods from October 2006 to February 2008. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Grinnell College.
