Kali Gustafson

Kali Gustafson is a structural engineer currently employed at Barr Engineering Co., specializing in hydropower and wind energy projects, including structural analysis and design of steel gates, concrete bulkheads, and foundations. Prior experience includes a role as a Structural Design Engineer at BKBM Engineers, where Kali designed various building materials and facilitated project communication. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, data analysis and optimization of sensor placement were key responsibilities. Additionally, Kali served as a Graduate Research Fellow at St. Olaf College, an Advancement Assistant, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant focusing on friction in micro-electromechanical systems. Kali holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Physics and Spanish from St. Olaf College.
