Stephen Young has an extensive work experience in the software and technology industry. Stephen started their career as a Software Developer Intern at Focus Automation Systems from 1999 to 2001. Stephen then worked as an Integration Consultant at Trilogy Software from 2002 to 2005, where they developed industry-leading technical solutions and patented a mathematical algorithm for the automotive industry. From 2005 to 2010, Stephen worked as a Customer Solutions Engineer at MKS, managing on-site delivery and pre-sales activities for MKS's software solutions. Stephen joined Broadway Technology in 2010 and held various positions, including Consulting Delivery Manager and Head of FX Solutions Engineering. In these roles, they led consulting engagements, managed teams, and delivered high-performance trading systems for clients. Since 2021, Stephen has been with Barracuda FX as the Director of Solutions Engineering, responsible for global sales engineering efforts and collaborations within the Ion Markets group.
Stephen Young attended the University of Waterloo from 1997 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Their academic focus was on Computer Science and Combinatorics & Optimization.
