Gil Mendes

Gil Mendes is an experienced software engineering professional currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Senior Frontend Engineer at Barracuda since April 2022. Prior to this, Gil held multiple roles at Pixelmatters from August 2017 to March 2022, including Principal Developer, Lead Full-Stack Developer, and Front-End Developer, where responsibilities ranged from project management to hands-on development for international clients. Earlier experience includes serving as CEO at Designture and a Developer role at Câmara Municipal de Felgueiras. Gil holds a Master's degree and a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering from ESTG - Politécnico do Porto, completed in 2016 and 2014, respectively.
