Stephane Baghdassarian has had a substantial career in the hospitality industry. Stephane started their career at Westmont Hospitality in 2001, where they worked as an Executive Assistant to the President. In this role, they were responsible for managing budgets and tracking the progress of development projects. Stephane also maintained communication with divisional executives and reviewed important documents such as memos and investment proposals. In 2003, Stephane transitioned to the position of Development Manager at Westmont Hospitality, where they conducted market analyses and financial feasibility studies for potential hotel acquisitions. Stephane was involved in various acquisition exercises, including due diligence, capital expenditure planning, and asset disposal. In 2007, they joined GLA Hotels as a Development Director, responsible for presenting the company's services to investors and hotel owners. Stephane joined Groupe Barrière in 2013 as the VP of Development Hotels, a role in which they currently serve.
Stephane Baghdassarian obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from ISG Institut Supérieur de Gestion between 1993 and 1996. Stephane then pursued an MBA in Hotel Finance from ESSEC MSc in Hospitality Management (IMHI) from 1999 to 2001. Additionally, in 2000, they earned a Master's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from Cornell University.
