Michael Campagna is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Digital Services Manager at Barrington Area Library since November 2008. In this role, Michael is responsible for managing the Digital Services Specialist and overseeing the MakerLab, Gaming Rooms, and digital collection initiatives. Michael has played a key role in training staff and customers on advanced technologies and implementing online databases. Prior to this position, Michael worked as a Youth Services Librarian, where new technology-based programs were developed. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Librarian at Chicago Public Library and as a Volunteer at Monmouth University. Michael holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Dominican University and has completed undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia and Kishwaukee College.
