Adrian Sculptoreanu

Adrian Sculptoreanu PhD is a seasoned research scientist currently affiliated with the Barrow Neurological Institute since November 2021 and has been the owner of Cardpharm since February 1987. With extensive academic experience, Adrian has served as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh since June 1998 and has held various research positions including researcher associate at Purdue University and assistant professor at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele Milano. Research expertise includes the study of nociceptive response mechanisms and neurobiology of learning, with a focus on the interactions between endothelin and neurokinins in sensory neurons. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Biophysics from Université de Sherbrooke and a dual MSc/BSc in cariophysiology and neuroscience from Carleton University, among other degrees.
