Elena Isac has a diverse work experience. Elena started their career at IFRC as an intern at the Logistics Centre of Humanitarian Aid in Las Palmas in 2010. Elena then worked as a Junior Customer Service Specialist at Barry Callebaut from 2011 to 2012. Following that, they joined Magenta Consulting SRL as a Consultant in Marketing for a few months. From 2012 onwards, Elena joined the Barry Callebaut Group, where they held various roles including Supply Chain Analyst, Global Planning Lead/Long term planning, Supply Chain Project Lead, Project Manager, Global Supply Chain Process Lead, Global Supply Chain Transformation Manager, Global Strategic Planning Manager, and most recently, Head of Supply Chain Planning Excellence Global Cocoa. Elena also took on the role of Stream lead in the Global Transformation Program at the company.

Elena Isac holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Logistics Engineering from Jacobs University Bremen, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalaureate degree in Natural sciences at Mircea Eliade High School from 1996 to 2008. In 2006 to 2007, Elena Isac also participated in an exchange program as an ASSIST student at Salem Academy.
