Scott F. Smith is an experienced higher education administrator with a comprehensive background in student affairs and athletics. Currently serving as the Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics and Recreation at Barry University since August 2011, Scott has also held multiple vice presidential roles focused on mission, student engagement, and student affairs. Prior to Barry University, Scott worked at Saint Louis University as the Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students and held various positions at Seattle University, Ohio Northern University, and Marquette University, demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and leadership in residential life. Scott's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The Ohio State University and advanced degrees in Adult and Counselor Education from North Carolina State University and Psychology from The University of the South.
