Robel Teweldebirhan is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on reliability engineering and mechanical design. Currently serving as Principal Reliability Engineer at BART since May 2018, Robel has previously held roles such as Senior Reliability Engineer and Reliability Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Research and Development Engineer at the Berkeley Emergent Space Tensegrities Lab, where Robel designed advanced tensegrity robotic systems, and various leadership positions at Eritrean Airlines, including Director of Corporate Planning and Development and Manager of Reliability and Monitoring.
