Jackie Ennis

Jackie Ennis has extensive experience in education, currently serving as Professor and Dean of the School of Education at Barton College since August 1995, after holding positions as Assistant and Associate Professor at the same institution. Prior to this role, Jackie Ennis worked as a teacher at Nash Rocky Mount Schools from January 1981 to June 1995. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction and Instructional Technology from North Carolina State University, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Middle Grades Education with a focus on Math and Science Education from Campbell University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Elementary Education and Teaching from Barton College.
