Jacob Winkler

Jacob Winkler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jacob began their career in 1995 as a Post Doc at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they worked on computer simulations for solid fuel cells. In 1996, they joined Cook Medical as a Microbiologist, responsible for sterilization control and database management. Jacob then moved on to Novozymes, where they worked as a Chemist, specializing in project management and application development, including collaborations with Roche.

In 2001, Jacob joined Novo Nordisk A/S as a Project Director, leading IT projects focused on security, infrastructure, global workflows, and change control. During their time at Novo Nordisk, they upgraded the company's Tier 1 network and implemented electronic case handling for change control processes globally.

Since 2015, Jacob has been associated with BASE life science, where they have held various roles. Jacob started as a Senior Manager, and later became a Partner, focusing on business development and cloud implementation in regulated industries. Their recent engagements include software implementations and the establishment of IT quality management systems and infrastructure qualification frameworks from scratch. In September 2022, they were promoted to VP in R&D and Head of US Sales & Delivery.

Jacob Winkler's education history consists of several academic achievements and additional certifications. In 1987, they attended the Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Alongside their formal education, Jacob also holds several additional certifications. In May 2015, they obtained the Veeva CRM Administrator certification from Veeva Systems. Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained the Veeva Vault Administrator certification from the same institution. Furthermore, Jacob earned the Certified Project Manager designation from the Stanford Advanced Program Management Certificate Program (SCPM) at Stanford University in an unspecified year prior to 2013. Lastly, in May 2019, they completed the Leading SAFe Course (4.6) offered by SCALED AGILE LIMITED.
