Jared Greene serves as the Head of Software at Base Power Company since August 2023, focusing on developing an energy network to address power grid issues. Previously, Jared worked at SpaceX from August 2019 to August 2023, where contributions as Lead Software Engineer included significant advancements in the Starlink project, expanding from 60 to 5,000 satellites and working on various system components. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Simulation Engineer and Simulation Engineer II at Celo, where Jared focused on backend engineering for a proof-of-stake Ethereum fork, and as an Internet and Democracy Research Scholar at the Marconi Society, studying the internet's impact in indigenous communities. Additionally, as a Back End Developer at Opentrons Labworks Inc., Jared developed the driver for an automated liquid handling system and designed a hot/cold plate for the robot. Jared is an alumnus of Columbia University.
