Georgina Jones

Georgina Jones has extensive experience in environmental management and sustainability, currently serving as the Group Sustainability Manager and Group Environment Manager at Base Resources since December 2021. Previous positions include Group Environment Manager at Base Toliara from March 2020 to November 2021 and a series of roles at Base Titanium Limited from February 2012 to February 2020, including Environmental Manager. Georgina has also worked as a Specialist Environmental and Social Consultant during 2011, Managing Director at Resettlement and Development Solutions from August 2008 to December 2010, and Consultant at Coastal & Environmental Services from 2005 to 2008. Early career experience includes serving as Publication Managing Editor at the National Inquiry Services Center from 2000 to 2004. Georgina holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a BSc Honours in Entomology and Zoology from Rhodes University, where studies were completed from 1990 to 2000, and is a graduate of Clarendon High School for Girls.
