Laura Cating

Laura Cating is a seasoned marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Visit Baton Rouge since January 2023. With extensive experience at the Louisiana Travel Association, where Cating has held various leadership roles including Executive Vice President and Vice President of Communications, Marketing & Advocacy since 2013, Cating has demonstrated expertise in strategic communications. Previous positions include Corporate Communications Project Manager at CenterPoint Energy and Marketing and Events Director at Seavers Design, Inc. Cating began a career in communications at Visit Baton Rouge and has a background in public relations established as a Public Relations Assistant at Diane Allen & Associates. Cating holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with a focus on Public Relations from Louisiana State University.
