Scarlett Spence

Scarlett Spence is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in life sciences, corporate compliance, and human resources. Currently serving as Sr Counsel for Life Sciences & Regulatory at Battelle since April 2023, Scarlett leads the legal counsel for the Health Business Unit. Previously, as Vice President of Corporate Compliance & Associate General Counsel at B. Braun Medical Inc. from January 2022 to March 2023, Scarlett was instrumental in redesigning and managing the Corporate Compliance Program. With a strong foundation in legal support, Scarlett held multiple roles at Aesculap and B. Braun Medical, contributing to corporate legal and compliance strategies. Scarlett's legal career began at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP and Richards, Layton & Finger, following academic achievements at the University of Pennsylvania and William & Mary Law School.
