David de Laney

David De Laney is a Senior Specialist in Process Development at Bavarian Nordic A/S, where responsibility includes optimizing existing upstream processes and developing new cell culture platforms since March 2008. Prior to this role, David served as a Senior Virologist at Immuron Ltd from 2004 to 2007, focusing on the development of a vaccine for enterovirus 71 in cows. From 1998 to 2004, David was the Viral R&D Manager at Bioproperties Pty Ltd, overseeing the development of veterinary viral vaccines and managing large-scale production processes. David's career began at the Victorian Infectious Diseases Laboratory from 1986 to 1993, working in various diagnostic laboratories. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science and a PhD in Medical Laboratory Science, specializing in Virology and Microbiology from RMIT University.
