Hubertus Hochrein

Hubertus Hochrein has extensive experience in the fields of immunology and medical microbiology. Since September 2004, Hubertus has served as Vice President and Head of Research at Bavarian Nordic, following roles as Snr. Director, Director, and Manager of Research Immunology. Concurrently, Hubertus has been a lecturer and group leader at the Technical University Munich since August 2000, contributing to education in Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Hygiene. Previous positions include postdoctoral roles at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, Lipha Research Center/INSERM, and Merck KGaA. Hubertus holds a Habilitation for Medical Microbiology, Immunology, and Hygiene from the Technical University of Munich, a PhD in Immunology from Technische Universität Darmstadt, and a Diploma in Biology, focusing on Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Immunology from the same institution.
