Bay Area Community Resources (BACR)
Marisa Ramirez serves as the East Bay Program Director of Expanded Learning Programs at Bay Area Community Resources. The East Bay Expanded Learning Programs make up 70 school-based programs across K – 12th grade. Marisa has earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Berkeley where she studied Social Welfare, Psychology and Public Policy and brings over 20 years of experience working in youth development and educational settings. She is a passionate advocate for the empowerment of educators, helping them identify their professional strengths and encouraging them to bring their best selves to the youth they serve.

Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) promotes the healthy development of individuals, families and communities through direct services, volunteerism and partnerships in the San Francisco Bay Area. BACR's diverse programs focus on After School Programs, Youth Development, Alcohol and Drugs, Tobacco, and Mental Health, National Service, Healthy Communities, and Fiscal Sponsorship.
