Mahesh Amin

Mahesh Amin currently serves as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Hospital Service Lines, as well as Medical Director and Cardiologist, at BayCare Health System since January 2016. Prior to this role, Mahesh Amin practiced as a Physician at Westcoast Cardiology Associates from June 1996 to December 2015 and at Mahesh Amin, P.A. from July 1992 to June 1996. Earlier experience includes a position as a Researcher at Rockfeller University from August 1991 to June 1992, focusing on biochemical genetics and the genetic causes of atherosclerosis. Mahesh Amin completed an internship, residency, and fellowship in Cardiovascular Science at Montefiore Medical Center between July 1986 and June 1991, holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (1984-1986), and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from The City College of New York (1980-1984).
