Stavros Bakaloudis

Stavros Bakaloudis is an experienced laboratory professional with a strong background in biopharmaceuticals and quality control. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Laboratory and Project Manager at Bayer since April 2022, Stavros specializes in project management and experiment planning, collaborating closely with laboratory and study directors. Previous roles at Bayer included Biological Lab Technician, where responsibilities encompassed formulation and stability testing, along with upstream and downstream processing in cell culture research. Prior experience at Lonza involved laboratory analysis and validation for cleaning studies, while earlier work at Bayer also focused on fermentation processes and enzyme assays. Stavros holds an Ausbildung in Technik/Naturwissenschaften from Berufskolleg am Haspel Wuppertal and completed education at the Greek Highschool of Wuppertal.
