Jim Conroy began their work experience as a Powerplant Engineer at Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland in 1999. Jim then worked as a Senior Engineering Specialist - Technical Services at CityJet from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they joined BBAM as an Asset Manager and later became a Vice President Technical in 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President - Deputy Chief Technical Officer at BBAM as of April 2021.

Jim Conroy attended Trinity College Dublin from 1995 to 1999. Jim obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BAI) degree during their time there.
