Veteran marketer Sheard is no stranger to the BBC, having previously served as head of marketing for BBC News and VP marketing at Candy Crush maker King, before accepting the top marketing role at Charlotte Tilbury Beauty.
On returning to the BBC in March 2020, Sheard was tasked with commercialization of top BBC brands and programming such as Doctor Who, Top gear and BBC Earth.
