Steffan Escobar

Steffan Escobar is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Global Business Information Security Officer at BBDO Worldwide since July 2018, Steffan previously held the position of Security Researcher at Synack Red Team from November 2017 to September 2023. Prior to that, Steffan was the Senior Analyst for Information Security Risk & Compliance at Tiffany & Co., where responsibilities included managing SOX 404 controls and governance risk. Additional roles include Information/Cyber Security Architect at Avis Budget Group, IT Security Engineer at INSYS Group, Inc., and Programmer Analyst II at the University of California San Diego. Steffan's career in cybersecurity began in the US Navy, where responsibilities included information assurance management and network administration, resulting in the award of the Navy Achievement Medal.
