Jessica Stokes

Jessica Stokes is an experienced educator and leader in the fields of history and social sciences, currently serving as an Upper School History & Social Sciences Teacher at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School since August 2020. Stokes has a diverse background that includes roles as a History/Social Studies Teacher and Swim Coach at Thayer Academy, a Subject Matter Expert and Teacher at VHS Learning, and teaching at Ursuline Academy-Dedham. Additionally, Stokes has contributed to the swimming community as a Board Member for New England Masters Swim Club and held communications responsibilities with the New England LMSC Board of Trustees. Stokes holds multiple degrees, including a B.A. with Honors in History from Williams College, a J.D. from Boston College Law School, and an M.S. in Advanced Content and Pedagogy in History from Simmons University, reflecting a strong commitment to both education and professional development.
