Ricardo Leyva

Ricardo Leyva has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Director at BBVA Bancomer since May 2012. In this role, Ricardo has led initiatives in structuring credit for short-term and long-term financing for companies and corporations. Previously, Ricardo held the position of Director Empresas at BBVA Bancomer from May 2017 to February 2025, focusing on similar credit structuring projects. Additionally, Ricardo was the Director Gobierno at BBVA Research from January 2009 to March 2017, where responsibilities included structuring credits for both short-term and long-term needs. Ricardo holds a degree from IPADE Business School, completed the Programa Desarrollo Directivo in Business in 2015, and attended U.N.A.M. for further education.
