Levi Timmermans has over 25 years of experience in various roles related to project delivery, infrastructure management, and planning. Levi started their career in 1998 at Fisheries and Oceans Canada, where they served as an Area Chief/Program Officer & Enforcement Officer for Small Craft Harbours. In 2007, they joined the BC Public Service and held positions such as Manager, Partnership and Project Development and Manager, BC Transit Initiatives. From 2010, Levi Timmermans started their own consulting company called Levi Timmermans Consulting, specializing in marine and project infrastructure partnership. In 2016, they joined BC Transit as Director, Infrastructure Management and later became the Director of Project Delivery. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for leading teams, developing and overseeing projects, and managing relationships with stakeholders.
Levi Timmermans obtained a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the University of Victoria in 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) in Business Management from the same university between 1996 and 1999. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications related to project management and leadership from institutions such as LinkedIn and the UBC Sauder School of Business. These certifications were obtained between 2009 and 2023.
