Rafael Paravia is a seasoned data engineering professional with experience in various roles within the technology sector. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineering Architect at BC Transit since April 2023, Rafael previously worked as a Data Engineer at Encora Inc. from May 2022 to April 2023, contributing to a project for an anonymous PEO company following Encora's acquisition of Daitan Group. Rafael's prior experience at Daitan Group spanned from August 2015 to April 2022, where roles included Data Engineer for a telecommunications client and a Software Developer/Data Engineer for a fintech startup providing a secure messaging platform. Rafael holds a Master of Business Administration specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Additionally, Rafael participated in a non-degree program in Computer Science at Saint Mary's University.
