Earlier in their career, Oliver held roles at RBC Investor Services, Cater Allen International Limited, and Abbey National Treasury Services plc, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, and treasury management.
Oliver Madden attended Oakwood Park Grammar School from 1986 to 1991. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at Loughborough University from 1991 to 1995. Oliver obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Accounting & Financial Management during their time at Loughborough University.
In 2021, Oliver expanded their educational endeavors by attending two specialized programs. Oliver completed the Blockchain Strategy Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Additionally, they participated in the MIT Media Lab Cryptocurrency course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Moreover, Oliver also obtained several certifications to further augment their knowledge and skills. Oliver completed the MIT Cryptocurrency Programme offered by MIT MediaLab in January 2022. In December 2021, Oliver completed the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme through the University of Oxford. Oliver also earned a certification in Selling to Executives from LinkedIn in March 2020.
