Kate Shirley

Kate Shirley has extensive experience in product planning and program management within the travel industry, specifically with BCD Travel since 1996. As a current Director of Product Planning, Kate leads the development of a flagship Reporting & Analytics platform, focusing on aligning analytics tools with industry trends and customer needs. Previous roles include Senior Product Planner and Senior Manager of Program Management, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing program alignment with strategic vision and managing cross-functional teams. Earlier in the career at BCD Travel, Kate served as Portal Technology Platform Manager, leading portal design teams and launching a business travel industry Web 2.0 platform. Kate also held a position as Product Manager at American Express Global Business Travel. Educationally, Kate earned a certification in User Interface/User Experience from Georgia Institute of Technology.
