In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications in the field of actuarial science. In August 2019, they became a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) from the Society of Actuaries. In December 2019, they attained the status of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) from the same institution. Finally, in March 2020, Mike obtained the title of Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
