Later that same year, they transitioned to Environment Canada, where they held positions such as Regional Director of Environmental Protection Operations Directorate and Regional Director of Canadian Wildlife Service. In 2011, they became the DFO Lead for the Cohen Commission of Inquiry. In 2013, they joined Environment Canada again as the Regional Director of Environmental Protection Operations Directorate. Most recently, they were a self-employed Consultant from 2016 until their current position as a Senior Policy Analyst at BC Financial Services Authority in 2020.
