Previously, Talya held the position of Director in the BC Provincial Government across various departments from 2008 to 2018, spearheading strategic projects and transformation programs that enhanced education and government services. Talya holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria, along with a High School Diploma from Havergal College.
