Julio Jimenez

Julio Jimenez is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in international capital markets and financial products. As Managing Director at BDO USA since February 2025, Julio serves as a technical expert in the National Tax Office. Prior to this role, Julio was Partner-in-Charge of Tax Controversy at Sax LLP, leading the tax controversy practice and advocating for clients. With previous positions as Principal at Marks Paneth LLP and Owner of Jimenez Tax Law Firm, PLLC, Julio has developed a strong background in tax controversy and international tax matters. Earlier career experiences include roles at PwC and EY, focused on international finance tax, as well as serving as an Attorney at the IRS National Office. Julio holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, a J.D. from New England Law | Boston, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Boston College.
