Richard Thurgood

Richard Thurgood has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Richard began their career as a Concierge at the South Lodge Hotel, followed by a role as an Actuarial Price Analyst at RSA. In 2012, they worked as both a Web Developer at QA Consulting and an Interactive Web Developer at VML. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer at Brilliant Basics “bb”. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Full Stack Developer at Accenture and a Senior Front End Developer at Aviva. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Senior Front End Developer at Zone and a Senior Software Engineer at Kaluza. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Beacon.

Richard Thurgood completed their education history with a degree in Mathematics with Business Studies from the University of Surrey from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Truro College from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in March 2022, Design Principles: an Introduction from Coursera in June 2020, Human-Centered Design: an Introduction from Coursera in May 2020, and Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2018.
