Hazel L.'s work experience begins in 2007 as an HR Officer at the University of Melbourne. Hazel then worked as an HR Advisor at CSL Limited from 2009 to 2010. Following this, they worked as an HR Contractor at SEEK, Australian Red Cross Blood Service, and AGL for a brief period in 2010. Later that year, they served as an HR Advisor (maternity leave cover) at International Power. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Monash University. In 2015, they went on maternity leave until 2016 when they became an HR Business Partner at Salvos Stores. Hazel held this position until 2022 when they transitioned to the role of HR Manager at LVMH Watches & Jewelry. Currently, they are working as the Lead HR Business Partner at Beacon Lighting starting from 2023.

Hazel L. obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Monash University. Additionally, in 2013, they completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at SELMAR Institute of Education.
