Beacon School
Georgina Thomas is the current Head of Geography at Beacon School. Prior to that, they were an Assistant National Curriculum Lead (Geography) for OneSchool Global UK from March 2019 to September 2019. In that role, Georgina was responsible for interim departmental goals, GCSE development, and working with the OCR A specification.
Georgina has also been a Ski Instructor at The Lake Louise Ski Resort from November 2018 to March 2019 and a Teacher of Geography and Head of Year at Holmer Green Senior School from September 2015 to August 2018.
Georgina Thomas completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University of Leicester. Georgina then went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma of Education at the University of Birmingham.
They are on a team with Jemima Elcomb - Head of Lower School, Years 3 & 4, Denise Lacour - Head of Learning Support, SENDCo, Years 4-5, and David Robinson - Director of Sport. Georgina Thomas reports to Simon Detre, Headmaster.
