Aviva Rothman-Shore has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Aviva is currently working as the Senior Vice President for Community Engagement at Beacon Communities LLC. Prior to this, they served as the Deputy Director of Program and Strategy at the Department of Housing and Community Development. Aviva also held the position of Economic Prosperity Manager at the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. As an Independent Consultant, they operated their own consulting firm called Aviva Rothman-Shore Consulting. Before that, they worked as the Community Life Program Director at The Community Builders, Inc., where they developed and implemented a resident services model across multiple sites. Additionally, they have held various roles in different organizations, including the Boston Women's Fund, Conservation Law Foundation and CLF Ventures, Fair Housing Center of Greater Boston, International Institute of Boston, and Responsible World Inc. Their expertise spans areas such as community involvement, policy advocacy, project management, and consulting.
Aviva Rothman-Shore completed their BA in Urban Studies from Brown University between 1994 and 1998. Aviva then pursued an MBA in Non-Profit Management at The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University from 2003 to 2004.
