Onne Backers is a seasoned professional in product development and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Manager of Product Development and Regulatory Affairs at Beaphar B.V. since June 2022. Previously, Onne held several roles at Synthon from June 2015 to May 2022, including Senior Global Project Manager and a temporary position as Head of Project Management, overseeing multiple generic product development projects from ideation to commercial launch. From September 2010 to May 2015, Onne worked at Nordic Group BV as an R&D Project Manager, leading both clinical and pharmaceutical development projects and managing R&D teams and external experts. Earlier experience includes a role as an R&D Associate within the same organization. Onne holds a Master’s degree in Drug Innovation and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Utrecht University, complementing a strong foundational education at Stedelijk Gymnasium Arnhem.
